We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Mover / Driver to join our team for a residential moving company. In this role, you will lead moving crews, operate a 26 ft box truck, and ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a 26 ft box truck safely and efficiently
• Lead moving crews on residential and commercial jobs
• Load and unload furniture with care and proper technique
• Wrap, protect, and secure items to prevent damage
• Pack trucks strategically to maximize space and efficiency
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
• Remove mounted TVs when required
• Communicate professionally with clients on-site
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and work environment
• Report any issues or delays to management promptly

Requirements

• Experience driving a box truck (REQUIRED)
• Prior moving experience (loading, wrapping, packing trucks)
• Ability to lead a crew and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and punctuality is a must
• Comfortable with physical labor (stairs, heavy lifting, long carries)
• Professional attitude and strong communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Valid driver’s license
