General Manager - Delivery

Role Overview

The General Manager - Delivery will be responsible for end-to-end delivery management of strategic programs and projects across the organization s BSS, OSS, and Cloud products portfolio. This role will ensure predictable, high-quality delivery, strong governance, and alignment with business objectives across multiple concurrent programs.

The incumbent will work closely with Product, Engineering, IT, Sales, Partners, and Senior Leadership, and will be accountable for delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability for large, complex, multi-stream programs across BSS, OSS, Enterprise Applications - SAP, HCM and Cloud platforms
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery across all programs
• Drive delivery governance, planning, execution, risk management, and reporting
• Establish and enforce best-in-class delivery frameworks, standards, and controls

Program Stakeholder Management

• Act as the single point of accountability for delivery commitments made to internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations, ensuring minimal business impact
• Engage with senior internal leaders, customers, and partners to drive alignment and closure
• Lead delivery reviews, steering committees, and executive updates

Vendor Partner Management

• Manage delivery across system integrators, OEMs, and cloud partners
• Ensure vendors meet contractual commitments, SLAs, and quality expectations
• Drive accountability for delays, defects, and deviations, including commercial and delivery governance

Team Capability Development

• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing delivery teams
• Strengthen delivery maturity through process improvements, automation, and tooling
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Business Alignment

• Ensure delivery outcomes align with business priorities, go-to-market timelines, and customer expectations
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to balance speed, quality, and scalability
• Support leadership in strategic planning, roadmap execution, and transformation initiatives

Candidate Profile

Experience Background

• 15-20 years of overall experience in technology delivery / program management
• Proven track record of managing large, complex enterprise programs
• Strong experience across BSS, OSS, Enterprise Applications - SAP, HCM and Cloud solutions
• Telecom domain experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with system integrators and global vendors

Education

• Engineering graduate (Bachelor s degree mandatory)
• Post-graduate qualifications in management or technology are an advantage
