Lead Painter

Compensation:

• $27.50-$30.00/hourstarting base pay, depending on experience and demonstrated skills
• Additional $4-$8/hour in performance pay on qualifying projects that meet or beat budget
• Quarterly performance reviews with opportunities to earn base pay increases

Schedule & Flexibility:

• Full-time, year-round employment, with the option to work seasonally and take November-March off
• Monday-Friday schedule, with Saturdays as needed
• Typical workdays range from 7–9 hours
• Typical start time is 7:30 AM with adjustments based on weather and project needs

The Role:

You'll be the lead painter on a small crew, typically working with 2-3 team members with varying levels of experience and skills. You'll have the independence to manage day-to-day work with established company systems, company resources and support.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform professional painting work to a high standard
• Lead interior and exterior painting projects from preparation through final walkthrough
• Organize daily work and guide your crew
• Help less-experienced painters improve their skills
• Communicate professionally with clients and project management
• Keep projects safe, organized, efficient, and on schedule

We're looking for someone who:

• Has several years of professional painting experience
• Produces consistently high-quality work at a productive pace
• Can organize and lead a small painting crew
• Takes pride in craftsmanship and customer service
• Communicates clearly and works well with others
• Is comfortable learning and following company procedures
