Compensation Breakdown:

• Hourly Rate: $24 - $30/hr based on Experience
• Annual Range:$50k - $64k

Schedule:

• Full-Time, Year-Round Employment
• Monday–Friday
• 8–10-hour day shifts
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional painting experience required
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability
• Good time management skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and manage tasks efficiently
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
• Unrestricted driver's license
• Physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (repetitive movements, standing, lifting, climbing, working at heights greater than 10 feet, etc.)
• Strong understanding of interior and exterior painting and proper surface preparation
• Knowledge of brushing, rolling, spraying, masking, caulking, patching, sanding and proper use of painting tools and equipment
• Experience working as part of a painting crew and the ability to receive a task and timeframe and execute it efficiently
• Ability to help guide and support other painters while still working hands-on alongside the crew
• Must be willing to grow in the position and have a desire to move into greater leadership opportunities

Position Summary:

Step into a hands-on Lead Painter role where you’ll use your painting experience to deliver high-quality interior and exterior finishes while earning a clear path to $64K+ annually plus performance bonuses. You’ll work alongside the crew, lead by example, and help ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, detail-driven painter who takes pride in doing the job right the first time, works well in a team-first environment, and is ready for career growth and advancement.

Core Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the jobsite on time and prepared to work
• Review the scope of work and daily objectives with the Crew Leader, Field Supervisor, or Production Manager
• Work hands-on alongside the painting crew throughout the day
• Help organize and execute daily painting and preparation tasks
• Help less-experienced painters understand proper preparation and application techniques
• Lead by example through work ethic, craftsmanship, attitude, cleanliness, and productivity
• Identify quality issues and correct them before they become customer concerns
• Help keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule
• Properly prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting
• Repair holes and cracks, patch, spackle, sand, caulk, scrape and perform other necessary surface preparation
• Properly mask and protect floors, furniture, landscaping, windows and other customer property
• Knowledge and experience with brushing, rolling and various paint application techniques
• Knowledge and experience with spraying equipment and proper spray techniques
• Knowledge of various mudding, patching and drywall repair techniques
• Properly apply primers and finish coatings according to product specifications
• Perform detailed finish work, touch-ups and punch-list items
• Maintain clean, organized and professional jobsites
• Properly care for company tools, equipment and vehicles
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate problems, customer concerns, material needs or jobsite issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and other team members
• Represent Best Buy Painting professionally in all interactions with others
• Take ownership of the finished product and help ensure the work meets Best Buy Painting's quality standards

Pay: Up to $64,000.00 per year
