Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Local Candidates Only)

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in API Performance Testing, JMeter, ReadyAPI/SoapUI, SQL, AWS/Azure, and CI/CD automation.

This is a technical leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building performance testing frameworks, optimizing large-scale applications, and leading QA engineering initiatives.

Key Requirements:

7+ years of QA Engineering experience with a strong focus on Performance Testing and Automation.

Extensive hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for API load, stress, scalability, and performance testing.

Strong experience with ReadyAPI / SoapUI for REST API testing and automation.

Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, test data generation, and database validation.

Hands-on experience testing APIs hosted on AWS and Azure cloud environments.

Experience integrating automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Programming/scripting experience with Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Groovy.

Experience developing reusable performance automation frameworks and defining testing strategies.

Ability to lead QA engineers, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with development and DevOps teams.

Additional Skills: Selenium, Cucumber, BrowserStack, Appium, Agile/JIRA, and TestRail.

Ideal Candidates: Lead Performance Test Engineers, Performance QA Leads, Senior Performance Automation Engineers, Performance Test Architects, and Lead SDETs with strong performance engineering experience.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity $130000 - $145000
