Lead - Physical Security, Solutions Engineering

Join Dialog Enterprise Technology as a Solutions Expert focused on physical security. You will lead the design, delivery, and optimization of next-generation solutions for enterprise clients, working across pre-sales, deployment, and ongoing support.

The Job

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced physical security solutions including VSAAS, Next-Gen Access Control, and Park Tags.
• Act as the go-to expert for clients, delivering product demos, training, and technical support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize tailored security solutions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure our offerings remain innovative and competitive.
• Maintain detailed documentation and provide insights through regular reporting.
• Translate business needs into scalable solution architectures covering cameras, VMS and VSaaS, access control, parking systems, and analytics.
• Run discovery workshops, assessments, and site surveys to validate requirements and constraints.
• Lead proofs of concept and pilots and support RFP responses with designs, BOMs, and effort estimates.
• Integrate solutions with networks, identity systems, and business applications using APIs, SDKs, and webhooks.
• Define acceptance criteria, test plans, handover documentation, and support incident management and problem resolution.

The Person

• BSc (Eng) from a recognized university.
• 3-5 years delivering enterprise physical security solutions across video, access control, and parking technologies.
• Hands-on experience with:
• IP cameras, edge devices, ONVIF, RTSP, recording, storage sizing, and retention planning
• Cloud and on-prem VMS or VSaaS platforms, video analytics, and health monitoring
• Access control systems including controllers, readers, credentials, mobile access, and visitor management
• Smart parking technologies such as ALPR, barriers, sensors, and tags
• Familiarity with integration patterns and automation using REST APIs, MQTT, and scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Understanding of data protection, encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, and audit logging.
• Ability to produce solution designs, diagrams, proposals, and clear operational documentation.
• Vendor or industry certifications are a plus such as PSP, CCNA, and product certifications in VMS or access control.
