Lead Planner (Construction)

Our Client:

• Engineering & Construction Industry
• 5 Days, Office Hours
• Island wide
• Up to $12,000 per month, AWS
• Contract (min 1 year)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain fully integrated baseline schedules, incorporating detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), logic sequencing, and resource loading.
• Monitor project performance variance, track critical paths, and implement proactive corrective action plans to mitigate schedule risks.
• Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Perform advanced project reporting, including Earned Value Analysis (EVA), critical path diagnostics, and potential delay impact assessments.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal project leadership, clients, and external subcontractors regarding timelines and milestone transparency.
• Challenge logic assumptions, validate contractor schedules, and maintain robust scheduling integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Execute ad-hoc planning duties, delay claims analyses, and risk management assessments as directed by project leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Min. 10 years of planning and scheduling experience within construction with min 5 years of leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with strong expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and delay analysis techniques.
