Lead Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer with experience and proven ownership of production Snowflake environments. You’ll bring deep Snowflake DBA expertise, including warehouse sizing and cost governance, RBAC, row-level security, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, Data Sharing, Secure Views, and query optimisation. Strong SQL and Python skills are essential, along with experience running reliable, scalable data platforms.

You’ll also own our dbt environment end-to-end, covering model architecture, incremental models, snapshots, environments, scheduling, testing, monitoring, deployment and observability.

If you also have experience with Fivetran or Matillion, CI/CD using GitHub Actions or GitLab, Terraform, automated alerting and operational tooling that would be awesome! We’re looking for someone who can partner confidently with analytics engineers while improving performance, governance, lineage and platform reliability.

Experience with Snowflake Cortex, analytics AI agents, LLMs, semantic data layers or frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or AutoGen is highly desirable. SnowPro or Cortex AI certification is a bonus.
