THE CLIENT

An early-stage AI company whose agents talk to guests and members on behalf of hotels, resorts and clubs, one to one, in real time and in any language. Their customers are large, often heavily regulated, and trust them with sensitive guest data, so security is part of the product rather than a layer on top. They run entirely on Google Cloud, serverless and event driven, with every customer isolated in its own cell.

THE ROLE

The one person who owns everything underneath the product: infrastructure, security, compliance, reliability and cloud cost. It's a staff-level, hands-on role. You'd write the Terraform and the pipelines yourself, and you'd also decide what "production ready" means there, then make it the easy path for every other engineer. The team is small, so when an integration needs building or an internal tool would save everyone hours, that's yours too.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the Google Cloud estate end to end, all of it as code, including automated provisioning of new customer cells

• Run the security program: IAM, secrets, customer-managed keys, supply chain, and the defenses specific to LLM agents

• Keep the company continuously compliant as its SOC 2 Type II audit wraps up, and lead the move to ISO 27001

• Build the observability, disaster recovery and production standards the team ships against

• Attribute cloud and model spend to each customer, and bring it down

• Answer enterprise customers' security reviews yourself, and build the integrations they need

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 7+ years in software, infrastructure, SRE or platform engineering, with real time spent as a developer

• Deep hands-on Google Cloud and Terraform. Strong AWS alone won't be enough for this one

• You've designed and run security controls in production, not only followed them

• You've cut a cloud bill materially and can explain how

• Production code in Python, Go or TypeScript, including integrations and internal tools

• Based in Greece, or moving back to Greece

NICE TO HAVE

• You've been the technical owner of a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit

• You've run LLM-heavy systems in production

• You've built a platform from zero, not only maintained one

This isn't for pure ops profiles who don't write application code, or for leaders who no longer want to be hands-on.
