Lead Platform Engineer - Orbit Core

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design implementation and support of core platform engineering services
• Develop and maintain scalable reliable and secure cloud based platforms
• Drive platform modernization initiatives and engineering best practices
• Design and manage CI CD pipelines for application delivery and infrastructure deployment
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code IaC solutions using Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual operational effort and improve platform reliability
• Manage containerized environments using Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Establish platform observability through monitoring logging and alerting solutions
• Support developer self service capabilities and Internal Developer Platforms IDP
• Define platform architecture standards governance and security controls
• Collaborate with Software Engineering DevOps SRE Security and Cloud teams
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure platform and deployment issues
• Ensure high availability disaster recovery backup and resilience requirements are met
• Lead technical reviews root cause analysis RCA and platform improvement initiatives
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across platform teams
• Manage platform upgrades patching and lifecycle management activities
• Support performance optimization capacity planning and cost management initiatives
