In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial construction sites. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing installation activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and building codes
• Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and mechanical components
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of plumbing tasks
• Perform pipe threading, pipe installation, welding, and assembly using hand tools and power tools while maintaining safety regulations
• Conduct inspections of plumbing work for quality control, compliance with local building codes, and safety standards; troubleshoot issues proactively
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of plumbing systems during construction phases to prevent delays or defects
• Train and mentor apprentice plumbers and field service technicians to promote skill development and teamwork

Requirements

• Extensive construction experience with a focus on residential and commercial plumbing projects
• Proven ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
• Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, safety procedures, and mechanical systems
• Skilled in welding, pipe threading, pipe installation, gas piping systems, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Experience with construction site management including heavy lifting, carpentry skills for framing or remodeling tasks, and working with schematics
• Excellent customer service skills for client interactions during project phases or troubleshooting issues
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to operate heavy machinery if required
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces; commitment to safety regulations at all times

Pay: $29.79 - $35.88 per hour
