Lead PowerApps Developer

About the role

Lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. Lead the design and development of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Translate business requirements into technical solutions and applications design. Ensure application performance, scalability, security and governance compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and ensuring high-quality software delivery
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment for the team
• Lead the design and development of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Oversee development life cycle including design, development, testing, deployment and support as needed
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and environment management strategies
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and applications design
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security and governance compliance
• Analyze and optimize the performance of related applications and related infrastructure
• Champion the use of coding best practices, automated testing and continuous integration
• Work with product managers, business analysts and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

About you

• Possesses a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Lead Developer, and at least 2-3 years in Power Platform
• Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven apps), Power Automate (flows, RPA), Dataverse, Power BI
• Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management), REST APIs and custom connectors, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 integrations
• Experience with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance in Power Platform
• Proven experience in Waterfall Software Development methodology
• Proven experience in leading technical teams, conducting code reviews and mentoring senior and junior developers
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
