Lead Production Engineer

🚨 HIRING: Production & Facilities Engineering Lead | Houston, TX

We are working with a newly independent, private equity backed natural gas storage and midstream company in Houston that is building out its leadership team following a major acquisition.

We are looking for an experienced Production / Facilities Engineering professional who can take ownership of production performance, reliability, optimization and field execution across multiple natural gas storage assets.

A major focus of this hire will also be technology and AI. The leadership team wants someone who understands how AI, automation and advanced analytics can be practically implemented within operations to improve reliability, production performance, surveillance and decision making.

Ideal background:

• Strong natural gas production, facilities or storage experience

• Underground natural gas storage experience is highly preferred

• Compression, gathering, transmission and processing experience

• Production optimization and troubleshooting

• Experience supporting large scale field operations and asset performance

• Strong understanding of reliability and operational efficiency

• Exposure to AI, automation, advanced analytics or digital transformation within operations

• Ability to work directly with executive leadership and help implement new technology across the organization
