Lead Project Manager

About the Role

This role is responsible for driving successful project delivery across a Global Capability Center (GCC), ensuring initiatives are executed effectively from planning through completion. Acting as the central point of coordination across project teams, functional leaders, and operational stakeholders, you will provide governance, structure, and delivery oversight while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.

You will work closely with project and engagement managers, local leadership teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track, deliver intended outcomes, and align with strategic business objectives. This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and the ability to influence outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
• Define project scope, objectives, governance, timelines, and success measures.
• Develop and maintain project charters, plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
• Identify, manage, escalate, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Partner with business leaders, project teams, and functional stakeholders to drive project success.
• Align expectations, priorities, and outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Build strong relationships and influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

Governance, Reporting & Controls

• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks and delivery standards.
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and controls remain accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and present project updates, KPIs, dashboards, and status reports to leadership.
• Track actions, risks, dependencies, and project health indicators.

Change Management & Communication

• Develop and execute project communication plans.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage and communicate project changes, impacts, and key decisions effectively.

Project Closure & Continuous Improvement

• Lead project closure activities and transition plans.
• Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for improving delivery practices.
• Support the development and implementation of project management best practices and frameworks.

About You:

Project & Programme Management

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex business environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and project lifecycle management.
• Experience developing project charters, plans, and delivery frameworks.
