Lead QA Engineer (ATM Testing)

Lead QA Engineer – ATM & Card Payments | 📍 Dublin (4 days onsite) | 💸 Up to €565/day | 12-month contract

I'm working with a major financial services organisation in Dublin that's looking for an experienced QA Lead to own quality across its card payments and self-service banking estate.

There's a steady flow of project, regulatory and day-to-day change work landing on these systems, and they need someone to lead testing for all of it from start to finish, with ASAP starts considered.

This is a fairly rare one. Most of the work is hands-on ATM and device testing in a dedicated lab, so you'll be testing real hardware and real customer journeys, not just screens.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading QA across projects, regulatory initiatives and BAU change
• Planning and running end-to-end testing of ATM hardware and software
• Validating ATM transactions: cash withdrawals, deposits, balance enquiries and other customer journeys
• Reviewing business requirements and building out test deliverables
• Running exploratory and regression testing across test and pre-production environments
• Owning defect management, from prioritisation through to stakeholder engagement
• Working closely with developers, BAs, vendors and project teams
• Keeping regression packs, test artefacts and documentation in good shape
• Coordinating performance testing using authorisation platform tooling where needed

What they're looking for:

• Proven experience leading QA across multiple initiatives
• Strong ATM / device testing experience, including ATM simulators
• Experience testing complex applications integrated with multiple systems and legacy back-end platforms
• A background in financial services, payments or banking
• Solid test planning, execution and defect management, plus a good grasp of the SDLC
• Agile delivery experience and strong JIRA / Confluence skills
• Great stakeholder management and communication

Nice to have: Base24 Classic / Base24-eps, ATM networks and transaction processing, performance / non-functional testing, ISTQB.
