Lead Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist commercial and cost consultancy supporting the delivery of major infrastructure, engineering and construction projects across Australia.

This role will see you working directly with clients and project teams, providing strategic cost advice from planning through to project delivery on a diverse portfolio of high-value developments.

The Opportunity

• Develop cost plans, estimates and budgets across all project phases.
• Prepare detailed take-offs, quantities and pricing for complex projects.
• Review tenders and provide commercial recommendations.
• Deliver cost forecasting, reporting and financial analysis.
• Support value engineering and project cost optimisation initiatives.
• Assist clients with risk management and commercial decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on major developments.

About You

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experienced in cost planning, estimating and quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, take-offs and procurement processes.
• Proficient with CostX or similar estimating software.
• Background working on infrastructure, civil, building or resources projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
