Lead Remodeler

Job Overview

We are a professional Construction Company seeking an experienced Lead Remodeler to spearhead remodeling projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of residential and commercial renovation projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely delivery. As a Lead Remodeler, you will coordinate with crews, subcontractors and vendors, and lead a team of tradespeople to transform spaces efficiently and effectively. Your expertise in construction and remodeling techniques will drive project success and customer satisfaction. We offer paid vacation, 401k, Christmas bonus, employee of the quarter bonus and early completion bonuses. Starting pay is for probation period of 30 days and then decision is made to whether to maintain employee and pay is raised to match tools, experience, work ethic and quality.

Duties

• Lead and work on remodeling projects, including framing, drywall, flooring, roofing, concrete, cabinetry, painting, and finishing work
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
• Coordinate with clients to understand project scope and communicate progress updates regularly
• Coordinate procurement of building materials and supplies while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Oversee safety protocol adherence on-site, conducting regular inspections and enforcing OSHA regulations
• Operate some equipment and all power and hand tools safely to facilitate various construction tasks. such as concrete forming or hardscaping construction projects
• Conduct construction inspections to verify work quality, compliance with plans, and adherence to building codes

Skills

• Extensive experience in building construction, remodeling, and restoration projects with a strong understanding of finish work
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and some light equipment operation for diverse construction tasks
• Knowledge of door and window installation, cabinet installation, crown and trim installation, flooring installation, painting and caulking techniques
• Strong carpentry skills including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door and window hanging, drywall finishing, and cabinetry and fine finish work
• Experience with concrete forming and finishing
• Outdoor work experience involving hardscape installation like patios, decks or walkways along with restoration projects involving building material installation

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
