Lead Resident Engineers (Contract Basis/Consultancy Background/Data Center)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering design team and site supervision team for M&E projects.
• Perform mechanical and electrical engineering design, calculations, planning, tender preparation, evaluation, QA, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities throughout project execution.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from design development to final completion and handover.
• Prepare technical designs, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Attend project meetings and ensure effective coordination among all project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in M&E engineering design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services design, engineering calculations, project coordination, supervision, estimation, and documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with BIM is an advantage.
• Experience in data centre projects is preferred.
• Able to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated with sound technical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Possess a valid driving licence, own transport, and be willing to travel.
