What they need

PuroClean of North Seattle | Seattle, WA
Full-Time | $26–$30/hour, depending on experience and certifications | Paid Training & Growth Opportunity

About the Role

PuroClean of North Seattle is a locally owned property restoration company helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other property damage.

We’re building our field team and looking for an experienced Lead Restoration Technician who can take ownership of restoration projects in the field, deliver excellent customer service, and help develop other technicians as our company grows.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work directly alongside the owners and technicians while taking responsibility for job execution, documentation, customer communication, equipment management, and field leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead water mitigation and restoration projects from initial response through completion
  • Assess affected areas and help determine the appropriate mitigation approach
  • Perform water extraction, controlled demolition, structural drying, cleaning, and other restoration services
  • Take and document moisture readings and monitor drying progress
  • Determine appropriate placement and quantities of air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment
  • Set up, monitor, move, and remove restoration equipment
  • Maintain accurate job notes, photos, readings, equipment records, and other required documentation
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers experiencing property damage
  • Clearly explain the work being performed and help customers understand the restoration process
  • Identify additional customer needs and appropriately recommend relevant PuroClean services
  • Direct and work alongside Restoration Technicians on job sites
  • Train and mentor less-experienced technicians in restoration procedures, documentation, safety, and customer service
  • Maintain clean, organized, job-ready vehicles, equipment, work areas, and jobsites
  • Follow PuroClean safety, production, documentation, and customer-service standards
  • Communicate job progress, issues, scope changes, and customer concerns to ownership
  • Participate in ongoing training and industry certification

Property restoration is a 24/7 emergency-service business, so some evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous water mitigation or property restoration experience required
  • Experience independently running or leading mitigation jobs strongly preferred
  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification strongly preferred
  • Additional IICRC certifications such as ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or OCT are a plus
  • Working knowledge of structural drying principles, moisture detection, equipment placement, demolition, and jobsite safety
  • Comfortable training, directing, and working alongside other technicians
  • Strong documentation habits and comfort using mobile apps and technology in the field
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to make sound decisions in the field
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and explaining restoration work
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and remain physically active for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in damaged properties, crawl spaces, and other restoration environments
  • Willingness to continue learning, receive feedback, and earn additional industry certifications

Compensation & Growth

  • $26–$30/hour, depending on restoration experience and certifications
  • Full-time, hourly position
  • 40 hours of paid vacation per year, accrued throughout the year
  • Paid sick and safe time in accordance with applicable Washington State and Seattle requirements
  • Paid on-the-job training
  • Company-paid approved industry training and certifications
  • Additional opportunities for increased pay as skills, certifications, independence, and leadership responsibilities grow
  • Opportunity to take on increasing field leadership and operations responsibilities as the company grows

We’re looking for someone who wants more than a short-term job. As an early member of our team, you’ll work directly with the owners and have the opportunity to help shape how our field operation grows.

If you’re experienced in restoration, take pride in running a clean and organized job, communicate well with customers, and enjoy helping less-experienced technicians develop, we’d love to hear from you.

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchise. All inquiries about employment should be made directly to PuroClean of North Seattle and not to PuroClean Corporate.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
