Lead Restoration Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as a Lead Restoration Technician. This role involves performing demolition and restoration work, primarily focusing on water damage and remediation. You will start each day at the office before traveling to various job sites to complete projects. This is a hands-on position that requires proficiency with tools, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform demolition and restoration work with a focus on water damage and remediation.
• Travel to different job sites daily, starting from the office each morning.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with a team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Be available on call one week per month for emergency restoration needs.
• Crew leadership of 2-4 technicians per site, assign tasks, and enforce safety rules (PPE, OSHA, lead-safe practices)
• Explain processes and next steps to homeowners and insurance adjusters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Mitigation experience. Experience with water, mold and fire losses from start to finish. Including extraction, demo, setting containment, placing and monitoring equipment.
• IICRC certifications for Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) required.
• IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) preferred
• IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) is a plus
• Valid Driver’s license
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50lbs while working and while working in crawl spaces, attics and other tight areas
• Ability to perform demolition work safely and efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
