Lead Roofer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofer Lead to join our construction team, bringing expertise in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance. Duties

• Lead and supervise roofing crews during installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and commercial flat roofs.
• Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of roofing projects.
• Ensure all team members adhere to construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate material fabrication, ordering supplies such as siding or drywall when necessary for remodeling or exterior work.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety protocol adherence throughout each project phase.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while managing tools such as power tools and hand tools for efficient installation or repair work.
• Train team members on proper use of equipment like scaffolding, metal stud framing tools, caulking guns, and other specialized tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or remodeling with a strong understanding of roofing materials including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for ladder use, fall protection harnesses, and general site safety.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, drywall installation, caulking, stucco work, and siding installation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
• Prior construction site experience with outdoor work environments is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams effectively on complex projects.
• Additional handyman experience or expertise in metal stud framing and remodeling projects is a plus.
