Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer

• Lead and supervise rotating equipment engineering activities for ADNOC Oil & Gas projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables related to pumps, compressors, turbines and other rotating equipment.
• Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions and engineering documents.
• Review vendor documents, drawings, technical offers and equipment packages.
• Conduct technical evaluation of vendor bids and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications, project requirements, API, ASME, ISO and applicable international standards.
• Participate in vendor meetings, technical clarification meetings, FAT, inspections and commissioning activities as required.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
• Resolve technical issues related to rotating equipment and provide engineering recommendations.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure completion within project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and engineering teams.
• Participate in client/ADNOC meetings and provide technical presentations when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 12–15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
3. Proven experience as a Lead Rotating Engineer / Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer.
4. Strong experience with rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, gas turbines and steam turbines.
5. Previous ADNOC project experience is highly preferred/mandatory as per project requirement.
6. Strong knowledge of API 610, API 617, API 618, API 614 and API 670.
7. Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering projects.
8. Strong experience in equipment datasheets, technical specifications, requisitions and vendor document review.
9. Experience in technical bid evaluation and vendor coordination.
10. Experience with EPC contractors and major Oil & Gas projects.
11. Knowledge of applicable ADNOC specifications and international engineering standards.
12. Strong multidisciplinary coordination and technical communication skills.
13. UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
14. Candidates who are immediately available or serving a short notice period will be given preference.
