Sales Lead

Must be 18 years old or older.

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Lead to join our team. The Sales Lead will support the Store Manager in driving sales, providing excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and helping lead the sales team.

The ideal candidate is confident, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative. You should be able to lead by example, assist customers with product selection, coach team members on sales and customer service, and help ensure the store operates efficiently.

As a Sales Lead, you will play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience while helping the team consistently achieve the store’s sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide excellent customer service at all times
• Welcome customers to the store and actively assist them with their needs
• Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations
• Help motivate and coach Sales Associates to improve sales and customer service
• Help the team achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
• Monitor sales performance and encourage team members to meet or exceed goals
• Stay knowledgeable about products and educate employees and customers on product features
• Actively engage customers and identify opportunities to increase sales
• Cross-sell and recommend additional products based on customer needs
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Assist with opening and closing the store as assigned
• Help ensure the store is clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing
• Maintain assigned areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
• Assist with inventory control, restocking, and maintaining accurate inventory
• Process POS transactions, returns, and exchanges according to company procedures
• Help monitor register procedures and ensure transactions are handled accurately
• Support the Store Manager with training new and existing employees
• Communicate store needs, employee concerns, and customer feedback to management
• Help maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure employees are following company policies and procedures
• Assist with merchandising and store displays to help drive sales
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer service, and store operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous retail, sales, or leadership experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Sales Lead, Key Holder, Senior Sales Associate, Assistant Manager, or similar role is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Knowledge of retail products and inventory procedures
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in English
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and work effectively with a team
• Ability to provide direction and hold team members accountable
• Friendly, energetic, and professional personality
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling customer complaints
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
