Duties

• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions
• Lead, motivate, and manage retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products, compliance policies, and sales techniques
• Inventory, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to minimize losses and maximize sales opportunities
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment
• Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales performance

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment; experience in cannabis or related industries is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
• Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, training & development, and recruiting practices
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks with attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting
• Familiarity with compliance regulations specific to cannabis retail operations is preferred
