Lead Scout – Tree & Landscaping Services

Position Overview

We are looking for motivated Lead Scouts to help us identify potential customers who may need tree trimming, tree removal, landscaping, cleanup, or other outdoor property services.

Lead Scouts will drive their own personal vehicle throughout assigned areas and look for properties that may benefit from our services. This is a flexible, performance-based opportunity where you earn money for leads that turn into paying jobs.

All Lead Scouts will receive sales training before entering the field. Training will cover how to approach potential customers, identify opportunities, communicate professionally, explain our services, gather lead information, and improve the chances of turning a lead into a paying customer.

Compensation

● 10% commission on the amount actually paid toward a job generated from your lead.

● Commissions are paid weekly after the customer has made payment toward the job.

● The more successful leads you generate, the more you can earn.

● Additional bonuses may be available based on lead volume, successful sales, and overall performance.

● There is no set hourly wage; compensation is based on successfully generated and sold leads.

Training Provided

Before going into the field, Lead Scouts will receive training in:

● Basic salesmanship and customer communication

● How to confidently approach potential customers

● How to identify properties that may need our services

● How to introduce and explain our services

● How to ask the right questions and identify customer needs

● How to gather accurate customer and property information

● How to handle common customer questions and objections

● How to properly submit leads

● Professional conduct and representing the company

You do not need to be an experienced salesperson to apply. We will provide the initial training and tools needed to get started.

Responsibilities

Lead Scouts will:

● Drive through assigned neighborhoods and areas looking for potential customers.

● Identify properties that may need services such as:

● Tree trimming

● Tree removal

● Stump removal

● Storm cleanup

● Brush and debris removal

● Landscaping

● Yard cleanup

● Other outdoor property services

● Approach potential customers in a professional and respectful manner.

● Use the sales techniques provided during training.

● Speak with homeowners or property representatives when appropriate.

● Gather accurate customer and property information.

● Take photos or document information about the potential job when permitted.

● Submit lead information to the company using the materials provided.

● Follow up with leads as directed.

● Represent the company professionally at all times.

What We Provide

● Instructions for identifying potential jobs

● Additional materials needed to perform the role

Requirements

● Reliable personal vehicle

● Valid driver’s license

● Ability to travel throughout assigned areas

● Friendly and professional communication skills

● Comfortable approaching and speaking with potential customers

● Reliable and self-motivated

● Willingness to learn and use sales techniques

● Ability to accurately collect and submit customer information

● Must treat homeowners, properties, and private information respectfully

Performance & Bonuses

This position has opportunities to earn additional bonuses based on performance. Bonuses may be offered for reaching certain lead goals, generating multiple successful jobs, or consistently producing quality leads.

Example

If you find a customer who hires us for a $3,000 job, and the customer pays $3,000 toward that job, your 10% commission would be:

$3,000 × 10% = $300

If you generate multiple successful jobs, your earnings can increase accordingly.

The Ideal Lead Scout

We’re looking for someone who is driven, observant, outgoing, friendly, and motivated to make money based on their own effort.

You don’t have to come in as an expert salesperson. We’ll train you, give you the tools you need, and put you in the field ready to find opportunities and turn them into customers.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
