Lead/ Senior Automation Developer (Java/Python)_ Exp: 8+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Automation Developer to join the Tech Controls team. The role involves automating manual control activities, developing and maintaining control-testing scripts, and enhancing the existing Co-pilot Controls Agent. The ideal candidate should have strong Java and/or Python development skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience designing and implementing automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate manual control activities and repetitive operational processes.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain automation scripts using Java and/or Python.
• Develop and enhance control-testing scripts to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the existing Co-pilot Controls Agent.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively recommend innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, code reviews, and implementation activities.
• Communicate effectively with UK-based stakeholders and provide updates on progress, risks, and solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development, automation, and scripting.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Java and/or Python .
• Experience developing automation frameworks, scripts, and reusable components.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and drive solutions.
• Experience collaborating with international stakeholders and distributed teams.
