Lead Server

The Bluff Hotel Savannah Historic District - A Hilton Tapestry Collection Hotel is looking for a Lead Server to join our wonderful team! This position will primarily be a morning shift position.

We are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Lead Server to help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests in Historic Savannah at the Musgrove Room & Twin Spades Lounge.

As a key member of the Food & Beverage team, the Lead Server will provide outstanding service while assisting with daily restaurant operations. This individual will serve as a role model for service excellence, support the team during shifts, and help ensure a positive guest experience in all dining outlets.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests while maintaining Hilton brand standards.
• Support and assist servers and restaurant team members during service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Serve as a shift leader when management is unavailable, assisting with workflow and guest concerns.
• Monitor dining room presentation, cleanliness, and service quality throughout each shift.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members on service standards and procedures.
• Help coordinate efficient communication between the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restaurant setup, cash handling procedures, and side work completion.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, beverage offerings, and hotel amenities.
• Assist with light food preparation and guest service needs as business demands require.
• Support private events and functions held within the Twin Spades Lounge and other hotel venues.
• Address guest requests and concerns promptly, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant serving experience required.
• Prior leadership, trainer, or lead server experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or supplies for extended periods.
