We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Lead Server to join our team.

This position is for someone who can provide excellent guest service while also helping lead and support the FOH team during daily operations.

The Lead Server will work closely with management to help maintain service standards, support other servers, and keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional attitude during shifts
• Work cooperatively with management and follow management direction
• Help ensure that FOH staff follow established procedures and service standards
• Support and guide servers during busy service
• Help train and support new FOH employees
• Monitor the dining room and recognize what needs to be done without always waiting for instructions
• Make sure opening, side work, and closing duties are completed properly
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and management
• Help maintain good communication and teamwork among FOH staff
• Assist with guest concerns and communicate issues to management when necessary
• Help keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for service

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant serving experience required
• Leadership or Lead Server experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
• Able to take initiative and recognize what needs attention
• Willing to receive feedback and follow direction from management
• Comfortable helping guide other servers and holding the team to restaurant standards
• Positive and cooperative attitude
• Interest in Japanese food or Japanese culture is a plus

We are looking for someone who is not only a strong server, but also someone who can support management, help develop the FOH team, and contribute to a consistent and professional service environment.

Pay: From $11.35 per hour
