Lead Server

Jimmy Rosso is a new pizza concept built around great food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. We’ll be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated Server Lead to help us build a strong FOH team from the ground up.

The Server Lead will play an important role in setting the tone for service, supporting team members, and ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience.

The Role:

As Server Lead, you will help oversee daily dining room operations while actively working alongside the service team. You’ll lead by example, communicate clearly, and help create an organized, positive, and energetic restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the serving team during daily operations
• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable guest service
• Welcome guests and help create a positive first impression
• Assist with assigning sections and coordinating service flow
• Support servers with guest needs, menu questions, and special requests
• Help train new team members on service standards and restaurant procedures
• Maintain clear communication between servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management
• Monitor table maintenance, cleanliness, and overall dining room presentation
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Help resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Support management with daily operational tasks
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant
• Uphold Jimmy Rosso’s standards for hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous serving experience required; leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service and guest hospitality
• A self-motivated individual who takes initiative
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Ability to lead by example and work well with a team
• Comfortable making decisions and solving problems during service
• Open availability, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays
• Ability to work the restaurant’s operating hours of 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Compensation: $15 Hr + Tips
