Lead Server

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Server to elevate our dining experience and lead our front-of-house team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily service operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support your team in delivering top-tier hospitality. Duties

• Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Manage table assignments, reservations, and seating arrangements using OpenTable.
• Upsell menu items, beverages, wines, and spirits to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are strictly followed in compliance with food industry regulations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, Toast
• Provide training and mentorship to new staff on food service procedures, POS operation, and customer relations
• Assist with food preparation support when needed and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service
• Supplier assistance when needed.

Experience

• Proven restaurant experience with a focus on fine dining or upscale food service environments
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Strong background in guest relations, customer service excellence, and hospitality best practices
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience as a lead server or similar role within the food industry
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
