Figulīna is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Lead Server to join our front-of-house team.

Located in Raleigh’s Warehouse District, Figulīna is an independently owned restaurant centered around handmade pasta, thoughtful hospitality, and a seasonal menu inspired by Italian traditions and the ingredients of North Carolina.

We're looking for someone who loves the energy of restaurant service, takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences, and is excited to take on a leadership role within a passionate, collaborative team.

About the Role

Our Lead Server will be an integral part of our front-of-house team, working alongside management to maintain and continually elevate our standards of service.

This is primarily a guest-facing service position, with additional leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, has a natural eye for detail, and can confidently support their teammates while keeping the guest experience at the forefront.

The position will include serving shifts, leading one service each week, and overseeing closing procedures a couple of evenings each week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service that reflects Figulīna's approach to hospitality.
• Lead by example, helping foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment.
• Work closely with management to maintain and improve service standards, consistency, and overall guest experience.
• Serve as a point of support for fellow front-of-house team members during service.
• Take responsibility for restaurant closing procedures on designated evenings, ensuring the dining room is properly reset and prepared for the following day.
• Help identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas to strengthen our service and operations.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Communicate effectively with management and the kitchen to ensure smooth, thoughtful service.

Who We're Looking For

• Previous experience in an upscale, chef-driven, or high-volume full-service restaurant.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and wine.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay composed during busy services.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a willingness to take ownership.
• Someone who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a strong team culture.
• A positive attitude, curiosity, and an interest in continued professional growth.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Previous leadership or closing experience is a plus, but we're equally interested in experienced servers who are ready to take the next step in their careers.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
