Lead Site Reliability Security Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Site Reliability Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will shape secure, resilient infrastructure that supports testing and sustaining engineering operations in a complex manufacturing environment. You will partner closely with infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to strengthen network security, reduce risk, and improve reliability across multiple domains. The ideal candidate brings deep cybersecurity expertise, hands-on experience with enterprise security and networking technologies, and a strong grasp of industrial environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,100 – $180,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal expert in cybersecurity and network security.
• Design and implement secure network infrastructures for various testing environments.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity standards and access control frameworks.
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response to reduce operational risks.
• Drive compliance with security requirements across multiple domains.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for manufacturing server and rack test software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related tech environments.
• 5+ years managing Fortinet security platforms and Arista networking in enterprise settings.
• Proven experience securing industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
