Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Snowflake ETL Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud data solutions. The ideal candidate will lead ETL/ELT initiatives, architect high-performance Snowflake data pipelines, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with business and analytics stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data into Snowflake.
• Lead technical design, code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level data engineers.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, compute resources, storage costs, clustering, and auto-scaling.
• Build automated data workflows using Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, and orchestration tools.
• Design dimensional, star/snowflake, and Data Vault data models.
• Perform SQL optimization, query tuning, and stored procedure development.
• Implement data governance, RBAC, Dynamic Data Masking, Object Tagging, and secure data sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Data Engineering/ETL development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong expertise in ETL/ELT architecture and cloud data warehousing.
• Advanced SQL with window functions and performance tuning.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or SQL Stored Procedures.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, Matillion, Talend, or Informatica.
• Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
• Prior technical leadership and mentoring experience.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced Architect certification.
• CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Real-time data streaming into Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data governance and security best practices.
