Lead Software Architect

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Architect to drive the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-scale software solutions across multiple business domains. This role will play a key part in defining technology strategy, establishing architectural standards, and guiding engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of leading architecture initiatives within complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall software architecture strategy across multiple products and platforms.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Senior Stakeholders to align technology decisions with business objectives.
• Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.
• Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations, microservices adoption, and platform transformation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Establish architecture principles, frameworks, and development standards.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence across the organization.
• Support pre-sales and customer-facing engagements where architectural expertise is required.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and data protection requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Lead Architect or Software Architect role.
• Strong experience designing large-scale distributed systems and enterprise applications.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform .
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API-first design.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and system design principles.

Hands-on experience with modern development technologies such as:

• Java / Spring Boot
• C# / .NET
• Node.js
• Python
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and software delivery best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams.
