We are exclusively supporting a leading Finnish digital product company in the search for a Lead Software Engineer or Engineering Manager to join their Real Estate Systems team in Tampere.

The Role:

As Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional software development team responsible for a business-critical platform at the heart of the real estate industry.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will combine technical direction, people leadership and product collaboration. You'll work closely with developers, product stakeholders and customers to ensure the platform continues to evolve while maintaining technical quality and scalability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a team of software engineers
• Driving technical and architectural decision-making
• Working closely with product and business teams on prioritisation
• Balancing delivery speed with long-term technical sustainability
• Supporting the adoption of AI capabilities within the product
• Bringing customer and business understanding into engineering decisions
• Influencing team processes, ways of working and technical strategy

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading software development teams as an Engineering Manager, Lead Developer, Tech Lead or similar

• Experience working with SaaS products and cloud platforms
• Product company background preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Interest in applying AI to deliver real customer value
• Confident decision-maker who can provide technical leadership and direction
• Fluent Finnish language skills
