Lead Software Engineer

The Role

• Lead and develop an agile software development team within the Meta product area, fostering an environment of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning to release, continuously improving agile processes to ensure predictable releases and high software quality.

• Act as a technical sparring partner for the team, supporting sound architectural and technology decisions for scalable, maintainable, and future-proof software solutions using C#/.NET and Angular.

• Drive the strategic adoption of modern AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity, quality, and innovation.

• Collaborate closely with product management, software architecture, and leadership to align technological excellence with product strategy and customer requirements.

What You'll Need

• Proven success in leading and developing software engineering teams, with a strong ability to mentor and grow talent.

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, combined with a strong commitment to quality and analytical excellence.

• Solid practical experience in developing and architecting modern software solutions using C#/.NET and Angular, with a good understanding of professional software architectures.

• Deep knowledge of modern Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and release processes, including practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.

• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills, a high degree of initiative and teamwork, and fluent German and English proficiency.
