Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in full-stack/backend development, data engineering, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake.

This role focuses on building scalable backend applications, developing and optimizing data pipelines, and integrating cloud-based data solutions. Candidates should have strong software engineering fundamentals, experience working with modern cloud and data platforms, and knowledge of AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
• Build and support cloud-based data engineering solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Work with Snowflake for data storage, processing, integration, and optimization.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs to support application and data integration.
• Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes for efficient data movement and transformation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend application, data pipeline, and cloud integration issues.
• Support the development and integration of AI-driven capabilities within applications and data platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, and cloud teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and system performance.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in software engineering, particularly backend or full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Python programming and FastAPI development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience working with Azure Databricks for data engineering and processing.
• Strong understanding of data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration.
• Experience with Snowflake as a cloud data platform.
• Knowledge or practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frontend development technologies.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with Java programming.
