About the Opportunity

A fast-growing enterprise software company is seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer to help define and drive technical strategy across a portfolio of products. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on hands-on engineering, cross-product architecture, AI-enabled software development, and long-term platform evolution.

What You'll Do

• Shape technical direction and product strategy in partnership with engineering and product leadership.
• Lead architecture decisions across multiple products, services, and integrations.
• Design and develop critical platform capabilities and complex technical solutions.
• Drive adoption of practical AI technologies and engineering practices.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders across the organization.
• Influence executive-level decisions through technical expertise, customer insight, and business acumen.

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of experience building and delivering enterprise software products.
• Deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud architecture.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, containers, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven track record leading large-scale technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience building and deploying AI-enabled applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, reliability, and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to influence technical direction without direct managerial authority.

Preferred Experience

• DevOps, DevSecOps, security, compliance, or enterprise software platforms.
• Salesforce ecosystem experience.
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering organizations.
• Patents, open-source contributions, publications, or other evidence of industry impact.
