Job Summary: Lead Solution Architect responsible for modernizing enterprise banking and lending platforms, designing scalable edge computing infrastructure, and integrating hybrid cloud environments. The role focuses on reliable, secure, and offline-capable branch operations through system modernization and architecture improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for edge computing, IoT branch sensors, and cloud migration solutions. Guide development and engineering teams on solution design, code reviews, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker. Modernize branch hardware, SD-WAN networks, transaction routing, and real-time ledger synchronization. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, PCI-DSS, data privacy requirements, and disaster recovery standards. Develop legacy modernization and migration roadmaps using the Strangler Fig Pattern and incremental refactoring. Prepare architecture designs, risk assessments, and investment proposals for executive stakeholders and technical governance boards. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Knowledge of core banking platforms such as FIS, Temenos, Finacle, or Thought Machine. Experience with branch automation, kiosk applications, and teller systems. Strong understanding of the Strangler Fig Pattern, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and monolith modernization. Experience with edge computing, hybrid cloud architecture, and distributed branch networks. Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of SD-WAN and low-latency transaction processing. Strong solution design, technical communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of PCI-DSS, Zero Trust Architecture, biometric security, data encryption, and ISO 27001. Familiarity with TOGAF or Zachman frameworks and enterprise architecture governance. Experience with executive presentations, vendor evaluation, and technical risk assessments. Relevant cloud, security, or enterprise architecture certifications.
