Lead Specialist- Private Asset

About the role

Lead Specialist (Private Asset Services) responsible for management of data collection from General Partners via eFront to create and maintain periodical data points, including estimated NAVs, FATCA, Custom Real Estate, fund and underlying portfolio. The role involves execution of periodical campaigns, manual data uploads, extraction and collection from Private Credit Tripartite campaign, and onboarding of new funds into eFront Invest. You will maintain databases, collate quarterly performance reports, review and validate capital activities, investigate discrepancies, monitor vendor work, and ensure timely updates of market value and commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Management of data collection from GPs via eFront to create and maintain periodical data points, like estimated NAVs, FATCA, Custom Real Estate, fund and underlying portfolio
• Execution of periodical campaigns, including submission tracking and follow-up with GPs to ensure data completeness within the deadline
• Manual upload of data on behalf of GPs, where necessary, in the event of technical or operational challenges faced by GPs
• Extraction and/or collection from Private Credit Tripartite campaign in eFront Invest and socialization of the data extracted/collected to clients of the Service Recipient
• Onboarding new inhouse funds or new external funds into eFront Invest
• Update data points in eFront Invest upon receipt of information from GPs in a timely manner
• Maintenance of databases to ensure accuracy and proper recording of data updates in designated repositories
• Collation of quarterly performance reports from multiple relevant sources and alignment of such reports with the GP survey templates
• Review and validate the capital activities (including calls and distribution notices) and Cas processed by IDS team, in accordance with the defined workflow in eFront Invest
• Investigation, tracking and resolution of discrepancies to closure between eFront Invest and GP statement in respect of capital activity and CAS

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance or related disciplines
• At least 10 years' investment operations work experience in an asset manager/fund administrator, preferably in private assets
• Good understanding of private assets reporting, such as capital account statements, capital call/distribution notice, etc.
• Knowledge of how fund vehicles such as Limited Partner /Variable Capital Company operate is an advantage
• Experience in eFront and Aladdin applications is an added advantage
• Good inter-personal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to understand the complete end to end Private Assets process and later contribute to process improvements
• Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
