About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor CNC to join our manufacturing team at our facility in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing CNC machining operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality precision components. As Supervisor CNC, you will be responsible for leading a team of machine operators, maintaining production schedules, and implementing best practices in manufacturing. This role reports directly to the management team and is essential to our operational success and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate CNC machine operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of machining orders whilst maintaining quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections of finished components to verify accuracy, tolerances, and specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Train and develop team members on CNC operation, safety procedures, and quality requirements
• Maintain accurate records of production output, defects, and equipment performance
• Implement and enforce workplace safety standards and conduct regular safety briefings
• Communicate with management regarding production challenges, resource requirements, and process improvements
• Manage inventory of raw materials and ensure efficient utilisation of resources
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement within the manufacturing department

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or team leader experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, and machining processes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• In-depth understanding of quality control standards, dimensional tolerances, and inspection techniques
• Sound knowledge of workplace safety regulations and health and safety best practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple production schedules simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous
• Experience with manufacturing software or production management systems is preferred
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field would be beneficial
