Lead System Engineer / Service Delivery Lead - ETL Support

Role & responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the ETL operations team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
• Delivery & Operational Management: Oversee daily production support activities, ensuring SLAs are met and incidents are resolved promptly.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of ETL support engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• ETL Operations: Manage and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Automation & Optimization: Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks, improve system performance, and reduce manual intervention.
• Incident & Problem Management: Handle escalations, root cause analysis, and long-term fixes for recurring issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Overall 8+ Years of experience and a minimum of 3 years as a Team Lead in production support or ETL operations.
• Technical Expertise:
  Snowflake Data warehousing and query optimization
  SQL Strong query writing and performance tuning
  Unix – Shell scripting and system operations
  Informatica – ETL workflows, optimization, automation, and support
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven track record in ETL production support and team management.
• Experience in automation initiatives and process optimization.
