Lead Systems Developer - REMOTE

About the role

Our client is a premier consultancy specializing in building compliance, contractor licensing, and qualification assessment services for the construction industry. As their business operations and client base rapidly expand, they are upgrading their digital architecture—building next-generation customer portals and deeply integrating their front-end web services with enterprise back-office management platforms.

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Systems Developer to take complete ownership of their digital infrastructure and software architecture. In this role, you will bridge the gap between modern custom web applications (built with Python, JavaScript, Supabase, and Vercel) and enterprise back-office ecosystems (Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform). You will act as both architect and builder—developing seamless APIs, establishing software engineering standards, automating business workflows, and ensuring overall system security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, high-performance customer portals, web forms, and internal business applications using Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Deploy and manage lightweight cloud hosting and database backends utilizing Vercel and Supabase.
• Ensure modern UI/UX standards, optimal page load speed, and cross-device responsiveness across all digital interfaces.
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless, two-way data sync between custom web tools and back-end systems.
• Architect and manage automated workflows connecting Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Automate, SharePoint, and M365 with third-party tools.
• Eliminate manual data processing by building reliable, scalable automated pipelines across business units.
• Define end-to-end system architectures designed to support rapid growth and operational efficiency.
• Establish version control workflows (GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, coding standards, and code review practices.
• Maintain strict security controls, data encryption standards, and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) across cloud and web environments.
• Continuously monitor application health, query performance, and serverless compute usage; proactively resolve bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in Python, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience deploying applications using Vercel, managing relational database platforms like Supabase (PostgreSQL), and utilizing GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Strong background in building and consuming RESTful APIs, webhooks, and JSON data structures.
