Lead Teacher Assistant Director

Treasure Hunt Early Learning Center is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Assistant Director and Lead Preschool Teacher who believes learning should be engaging, hands-on, and fun. If you enjoy helping young children build confidence while preparing for kindergarten, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
• Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Observe and document children's progress.
• Communicate regularly with families.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with Minnesota licensing regulations.
• Promote positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance.

Qualifications

• Meets Minnesota Lead Teacher qualifications.
• Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Background study clearance required.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour shift

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
