Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

• Implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology and instructional modifications to meet individual student needs.
• Lead classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, communication development, and social-emotional growth for students.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for parent-teacher conferences.
• Facilitate effective communication with parents regarding student development.
• Mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instructional delivery and classroom management.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood or elementary education settings.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum implementation for literacy, math, communication skills, and social-emotional learning.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and colleagues.
• Certification or licensure in early childhood education preferred; relevant experience may substitute where applicable.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs while maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
