Lead Teacher

Duties:

• Plan and deliver lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
• Manage classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and administrators on their academic performance
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and other relevant information
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

• Experience working with toddlers ranging from 6 weeks of age to 4 years old (preferred)
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies

-Ability to ensure the needs of students are met along with providing a loving & nurturing environent for children to learn

-Maintaining a clean & sanitized classroom at all times

• Familiarity with early intervention practices for students with special needs, including autism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes
• Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills

-Willing to obtain mandated reporter training, CPR certification within 60 days of hire (company paid), courses on medication administration, health and safety & maintain 12 clock hours per year.

• 4 shifts 7:30-5:15 with A 1 hour lunch and half day shift per week
