Lead Teacher – Billie's Busy Kids Child Care and Preschool (Granite Falls, WA)

Are you a passionate early childhood educator looking for a dynamic and fulfilling role? Billie's Busy Kids Child Care and Preschool is seeking a motivated, energetic Lead Teacher to guide and nurture young minds in our Infant/Toddler Classrooms at our Granite Falls location.

We are a licensed child care center, providing a safe and enriching environment for up to 57 children, ranging in age from three months to five years old (not yet enrolled in school). As Lead Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in fostering a positive, engaging learning atmosphere while ensuring compliance with child care policies, procedures, and Washington Administrative Codes (WACs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that nurtures the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth of young children.
• Create and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood best practices.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation in accordance with program policies.
• Establish strong, positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the community.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, complying with all licensing and health regulations.
• Lead and supervise assistants, aides, volunteers, and support staff to maintain a cohesive learning space.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and hygiene procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

To apply, you must meet one of the following criteria:

• Associate’s degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with at least 2 years of experience.
• ECE certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Enrollment in an ECE program with 2+ years of experience.
• Willingness to enroll in an ECE program with 1**+ years of experience**.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

• 1+ years in early childhood care or preschool education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
