Kiddie Academy Oviedo is a renowned leader in education-based child care for over 40 years. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds and preparing children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old for academic success through our Life Essentials curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the Life Essentials curriculum to create engaging and educational classroom experiences.
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
• Conduct assessments and track student progress to tailor teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and replenished classroom.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and milestones.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a daycare or private school environment.
• Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
