Lead, Tech (GAI Tech) – Core Tech

WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY: You will be working as a part of a team that is focused on providing core AI infrastructure for the firm. You will be working on improving areas including developer productivity and process efficiency and making DESCO data easy to use with LLMs, promoting generative AI for BU-specific adoption, etc. You will be expected to comprehend the technical requirements of diverse groups using AI, explore open- source tech options beneficial for us, and integrate the chosen tech within our teams to enhance efficiency and construct supportive systems. You will also be overseeing the end-to-end development of generative AI tools and infrastructure. You will be expected to solve complex technical challenges, ensure project specifications are met efficiently, and facilitate the rapid learning and implementation of new technologies within the team. You will be expected to mentor team members from day one, and over time take on people management responsibilities, including leading and managing a team to drive effective execution and delivery. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The ideal candidate should hold- Basic qualifications: ─ A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field with 6 to 9 years of relevant experience ─ Exposure to GAI projects ─ Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to acquire and apply new technologies quickly ─ Excellent attention to details and learning agility ─ Excellent communication skills ─ At least 1 year of people and team management experience, leading a team of at least 2 members Preferred qualification: ─ Experience in managing and working in a global and diverse team ─ GAI Academic qualifications/Certifications
