Lead Technician

Lead Technician:

When a call comes in, you move quickly, assess the situation, and give the team clear direction. As our Lead Technician, you’ll take control of both emergency field response and scheduled restoration projects. You’re known for making sound decisions under pressure while setting firm expectations, checking the details, and ensuring your technicians and equipment are ready when the next call comes in. Join us at Disaster Restoration Services (DRS) as our Lead Technician, where your decisive leadership will bring order to restoration work in our community.

What you’ll need to be our Lead Technician:

• Demonstrated restoration experience
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and the ability to apply safe work practices on active jobsites
• Ability to lead and manage a team of technicians
• Ability to assess conditions, execute and delegate field tasks, and monitor progress
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with property owners, subcontractors, technicians, and other stakeholders through various mediums
• Ability to identify and maintain a safe jobsite, including safely operating and maintaining restoration tools and equipment
• IICRC Certifications, preferred

What you’ll do as the Lead Technician:

• Lead emergency response and scheduled restoration activities on assigned projects
• Lead, coach, and direct a high-performing team of technicians
• Assess site conditions and develop restoration plans with organized field execution while maintaining a safe environment
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and shop readiness for routine and emergency work
• Keep property owners and internal team members informed through clear communication and accurate documentation
